the bulk fuel dealers should be able to get you plastic drums--UFA-Esso. If you plan to stash fuel somewhere i would consider steel----------the bears don't bite through them!

Have you checked your pump mount bolts? How often does your bilge pump kick in?

About all you can do is dial in the carb, and make sure the impellor/ring clearance is minimal. After that you will start to spend a bunch of dinero to make improvements.
