Finally found out why I was taking on water. There is a crack in the intake, just in front of the pump. I figure I have two options: leave it and make sure my bilge pump is functional, or pull the motor and pump and have the crack fixed up. Are there any other options?
It doesn't leak much (small trickle), but I don't want to leave the boat on the water overnight. Also, I am not sure if the crack will spread or lengthen.
The intake is on an Eagle Sabre, with an SD-309 pump.

| Blackfly, the season is drawing to a close you might be alright for a little while but the crack will worsen. With winter sneaking up on us there is a perfect time to yank the motor etc.. and fix the intake properly, maybe even straighten the bottom a little and do a good once over! kEV-O

By all means, fix it. Probably you donīt have to take out the engine and still have access to the crack by just removing the jet drive. For an emergency, use fiberglass to cover the crack, but this is only for the purpose of leaving the boat in the water overnight.
