Any chance of a late season race for those of us that can't make a race this early in the season?Would like to get in at least three races, even if it wasn't for points.New boat is still in the paint shop.
Thanks
Brent

Not to be pesimistic, but I think it will be unlikely to have a late race, with the CBF, and Insurance costs, and the time involved from all the volunteers, but 2 races here is a nice idea, we have a meeting on the 21 of April, I'll bring it up, everyone is welcome to attend this meeting, it will be at tthe Roadhouse at 7:30

I think Brent was wondering about changing the race to a later date so more people can make it.

I think its alot more than just brent wondering! But we'll be there with Riskey Business running fx cause the new boat wont be ready and no test time with it since the shores of the Hay will still be packed with ice and lotsa sticks comin down even after race date usually the end of the first week in june before we can really get out there and test. Not sure about Peace River or Grande Prairie though.why is it the race was early this year i cant remember from the meeting in october.

When in doubt,hammer down!

The race was advanced this year to accomadate all the racers wishing to go to the worlds in NZ, as they are having the worlds earlier. We realize that it will be tough for everyone to get ready, but there should be enough time, the weather man said sled suits won't be req'd, hell, my boat is still stuck in the mud, still at least 1 week from gettin' it out, we just hope everyone can make it, it's hard to please everyone

just out of curiosity...how many racers are actually going to New zealand?last i heard not too many. And just to throw it out there whos all planning to make it to whitecourt for the 16th and 17th.and one more question now who would be able to make it to whitecourt lets say if it was pushed back even a couple of weeks.lets see a show of hands.Carey,Richard,Paddy and who ever i forgot to mention that races from Whitecourt i do apologise i dont mean to cause ripples in the water just curious is all.Never know could mean the difference of 20-30boats showing up instead of 15-20

We planned it 1 weekend later, but that is GP's Rat Roast Family rally and is always held the 3rd weekend in May, and 2 weekends later would put it too close for GP"s race, (that was the general concensus at the meeting anyways), when we originally were planning dates last year, there was a lot of people going, not sure how many are going now. with the way things are now. We have a meeting tommorrow nite

Just over a week to go Very Happy

Entry fee is $600 for all classes. Payable when you register on Friday.

We are also running the same Calcutta as last year. $100 to enter, with 50% going to the winner and 50% donated to a local charity. Enter at registration. It goes to help those less fortunate, and its bad luck if you dont!!

Anyone wanting to be a support boat please call Lambert Veenstra, he might still need a few more boats.

A few details.....Spencer was leading with Chad and Willie close behind. The LS class is AWESOME and Rob has his boat dialed in great....Dale...not so much. He was having bogging issues that were not yet solved when I left. The new Tunnel that was just sent out(The caddy white one, with the oarange highlights)ran strong for NO testing time. I was scared to get to close as the paint still looked wet on it!!! Surprised The FX Class was good too, but I never got any results other than the 'U'class.Sorry....The Doc/Baldy/Norhgate Honda boat had some steering issue's....Crawford pulled out 1/2 way through his race for unknown reasons (to me). That's about all I know.
