The group site we used last year has since been booked by someone else, so we are on our own to find spots to camp, but the campground in not busy, in her words "wide open"

there are a few of us from Rocky coming for a saturday trip if not for the camping, but maybe, if I can, depending on the work thing. have corn, smokies, propane, and good weather booked!! good time to meet at the launch ???? 10 am???? I might try to bring along an original pioneer in the boat building world if his health is ok, any others for him to reminice with would be good.
I didn't realize how much work it was to put this thing on!!

Great Weather, 12 boats went, water was way down from last year, nobody had any serious issues, INCREDIBLE Weather, we went up to the S bend/ nice back eddy anout 7 miles below the trunk road, more rocks showing than normal, RT cooked us all up a big batch of Taber Corn, Thanks Dale, Hope it can be organized for next year, Doc never showed up, was probably doing that racing thing, hope he did well, we went from Tommahawk bridge down a ways today and had a weenie roast, Sask is really clean, HOT, HOT HOT today as well

No Hinzy no pics ....there was only enough... awsome weather,crystal clear water, campfire, cold beer, rum, sweet corn, smokies,the odd story, just a few laughs, it was a damn tough day to take, so we are saving it all for ourselves !!!!!!!

In all honesty I would have liked to go further up than the mouth of the Blackstone and tried out my new (1991 with 200 hours) 20 fter, but I had my rev limiter with me and she said NO if you go up there at all you will want to go all the way to the falls so NO ... wonder where she would get a crazy idea like that !! Do the rest of you guys have to fold up like that ?

Oh well , it was great to meet some new faces and do the Braz, had a blast as always. hopfully we can get out a time or two yet !
