| this model of turbine has starter only the rear mount is a 28 volt alt. Just finished testing for out of the box this thing flat hauls ass.

| Looks like these two boats may not be the "future"of our sport. Gord's never made it to the race, and The Kiwi boat got beat by a BBC. Please keep us posted on these "insane turbines"

Cpt. Crazy, anytime something new like this is tried the chance of succeeding right out of the box is pretty slim. You have to remember that these 2 boats were brand new designs, 23.5' Tunnels and the Turbines and gear box setup were never designed for this application. There is certainly going to be more growing pains to come but once these are dialed in, they are going to be in a class of there own. The week link at this level of HP is going to be the pumps but solutions are currently in the works.

What an awesome job rigging these boats guys. Some real nice craftsmanship.
But how come Bratt Jet Aluminum Boats is plastered all over these Eagle Race Hulls?
