Looking to head up to the falls this weekend. Just wondering if anyone could let me know which launch is best.
And if anyone else is doing the run this weekend?

Is there a launch at km28 on the Murray forest road? Or just past the airport? Going on Google Earth data here....

There is a not so good launch on the forestry road. I never use it. It's only an 1:45 min run from the bridge on the highway up to the falls at a slow cruise. The launch at the highway is better.

I don't think so, I really don't remember anything around the launch. there is a campground close by though that many stay at. There are spots not very far up the river where one can camp though.

Beautiful run up to the falls. There are a couple excellent camp spots with picnic tables, tables even an elevated wood bbq at the one.
The highway launch is good. Was an easy 1.5-2hr run to the falls not puhing it to hard in the Lynx...
Big shout out to Steve from FSJ who did me a solid.....
Comes down to wife parking truck with the window left down.....
Shocked
Falls were beautiful, fish were biting, saw some awesome wildlife including a hummingbird that hung around camp and an Osprey fishing close to camp.

I'll be doing that run again for sure.
