nozzle sticks out past the swim platform,
watched a young kid go to climb up on a friends boat and decided that the diverter lines were a good place to grab to pull himself up,
diverter doesnt help with a unevenly loaded boat side to side.
Just my personal experience, dont need it to shoot a 100 ft of roost and
trim tabs seem more practical.

EX-Welding in BC has a new diverter option/design. I already have a place diverter or shall I say had one. It worked great but the bucket kept sand locking on me which was a pain in the ass. So I have it sitting in a box. The design by EX is no bigger than a regular nozzle and even has the SDR style reverse bucket set up as well....Diverter is 12 Deg up and down I believe. I am looking into this option a littler harder than trim tabs for my particular application. Since I have all the hardware and hydraulic ram already installed I just need to buy the nozzle assembly and applicable brackets to install. Here are few picks. I know your looking for tabs but Though I would throw it out there regardless.

I went with the electric lenovo one son my boat and they seem to work fine so far only one year on them 25 hrs. One thing i dont like is they retract all the way in every time you shut off the key. but they do what i bought them for kids and wife really like them. no more bouncing around.

I have tabs and a race nozzle on my nahanni. Finally ordered the EX welding trim setup along with new reverse cable and hand throttle this morning. Claude seems like a great guy to deal with! He's like Bernie and Scott at OE, but the BC version. I'll let you know how it goes when I install it all.
