This is taken from the Medicine Hat Firefighters Facebook page, don't take for granted you are the only one on the water



Three people were taken to hospital today with non life threatening injuries after a collision between two boats on the South Saskatchewan River. Firefighters and EMS responded in Jetboat 1 up the river. Halo was dispatched but not needed as the ambulance was able to get access to the patients.

If going out on the river, please always wear your life jackets and bring a cell phone. Please be aware that the water is very low right now and there are many rocks to avoid.
