If everybody could bring a bit of dry wood from home we might be able to have a decent fire. The wood has been wet and green the last 2 years in a row.

Would like to thank Nelson for everything in Drayton Valley this weekend, weather was less than desirable, (campground has a new name , wet willy) but the river run was great, installed a heater in the sportjet and man what a difference, they work great, they are a must for those little boats. Thanks Again

It's a conventional type heater, it runs from the hot water off the expansion chamber, you have to install a thermostat in the line from the expansion chamber to the heater, there's also a plate you have to install on the other side for pressure relief, the boys at outlaw sold me the kit and gibbons also sell it, if you are putting it on a 240, the plate that comes with the kit doesn't fit, a new one has to be made to incorpoate the extra water cavity. THIS is well worth the work and cost of installation, I was a hero in about 500 yards, these units create heat almost immediatly, the harder you go the more heat it produces,

Isn't it about time we get SJ heat!
How much did it cost? Is it comparable to the price of the diesel unit?

Hey Mike, by the end of this week we will have done one with the 240 and I can call you to let you know the cost on the parts if you want to install yourself or complete including installation. I saw Karey's on the weekend @ Drayton Valley and worked totally sweet! I'm glad we finally have a heater option for our sportjets!

Talk to you soon.
