I have had the boat for a couple of years now, and was wondering what I could do to it to get a little more top speed. I installed a 383 stroker,and can only get about 52 mph out of it(gps down stream). I also put UHMW on the keel, so maybe that had a negative effect on speed? I've tried filling the countersunk holes in the plastic with epoxy, not much gain. Adjustable trim tabs? Trim nozzle maybe? Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.
