Im looking for a new set of communicators. I have tried a few different kinds including military throat vibration mic's and motorcycle in helmet systems. Who makes a good system? I like the ear plug style speakers. Any suggestions on where to look? Thanks for your help!

Aaron, try Sampson Racing. Lots of crews using these. Upgrade the mikes.

Ditto for using the the Sampson gear, I run the Nascar stuff and it works really well. Just do your best to keep wind noise out of the bottom of your helmet with cloth, duct tape, etc as needed. Heard the custom molded buds are even better. http://sampsonracing.com/sampson_racing_new/h_kits.htm

Arin call samson -ask for the rally car kit -the custom ear buds did not work well for us, but the foam ones work great. If you need p/n or a contact number text me.

My helmets are Nolan's - yes they have a cloth piece that kills alot of the wind noise under you neck. The Sampson mikes fit pretty good in them as well, as they are built for mike provisions.

What works best? Can you use an in dash intercom system, or does it work better to use a radio style system?
