Been reading as much as I can on this forum. I am hoping to pick up my first boat this winter or in the spring. I was wondering if anyone has a new one on order, or plans on selling their current boat this winter? I am looking for something like a sabre, lynx, bobcat, etc. I would like something that can handle the occasional gravel bar, and has a walk through windshield. I prefer something with a SBC, but would definetly consider others as well. Might even be interested in something without a motor in it, as I can build a small block in my sleep.

Thanks

Ya, I hear ya, they are pretty easy. I have built several in the past for my race cars. Still got lots of good small & big block parts in my garage. I love the modern day LT1 engines that came in Camaros & Firebirds, with the reverse cooling system. My '97 Z28 ran 10.8:1 compression, and I ran premium pump gas, and street drove it all day with no issues. It got some attention locally, as I could sit in the staging lanes at the track with my A/C on, then pull a low 11 second quarter on a set of ET streets. Loved that car, and still kick myself for selling it.
