What do you think? Sounds like there will be a few turbine boats racing so........will a turbine power boat win this year?

Good luck to all the racers!

If these things are properly matched to the hull (read Eagle) and driver,
They gonna dominate Laughing
GMHO
HATS OFF to all you racers and good luck!

Is there an entries list? it'd be good to make some picks on who's going to make the top three overall.

I'd say this years race will be a bloody good one, wish I could be there! It will be great now that there is so many fast boats, it will really highlight who's got the best team combination because there will be so much competition.

Hard to make picks when this will be the first real outing for several teams, so my guess is that the Kings will be hard to beat and so will Gord Humphries and John Derry (Go the Kiwi's!).

Very Happy

just thinkin.......$100.00 buy in......pick one boat from each class to make your team....10 points to finish 1st....9 points 2nd......8/ 3rd...7/4th....6/5th... 5/ 6th....4/7th...3/8th...2/9th...1/10th, most points wins, if a tye then quickest total time places higher ,DNS or DNF's are out, pay out 50%/ 1st....30%/2nd...20%/3rd, keep something out for your fund raiser
just because you pick 1 or 2 winners doesn't automaticly give you a win

what do you think?????????

humor you want...... that would be $100.00 in "canadian dollars "

and Arthur 2 the pool would have to have some kind of a salary cap, or limit that you can only spend so much to put your team together, that way, you wouldn't be able to pick only the historical front runners ,you would have to use wildcards, sleepers and the newbies to, it would spread things out , less chance of a tie, everyone would have to be valued , how you sit in the standings would make your value more? some way to spread it out
I'll check with a guy I know he runs an NFR rodeo pool like that and it works great

You would think that with less than a month untill the kickoff to this thing someone could come up with an entry list.
