I've got a 2004 16' Lynx 240 SJ with the manual trim tabs. I'm thinking of installing a powered trim tab system in place of the manuals.
Can I get a system like the Bennett trim tab system and use the pieces I would have to remove to install the tabs or would it be better to use the tabs that come with the system?

Or would it be better to go with a Scott hydraulic nozzle?

Or a self leveling kit instead of a powered kit?

Just trying to figure out which hole in my boat to toss the next $1000 into..... Shocked

I got the scott nozzle on my 17' firefish this spring and it works beautifully! helped immensely out of the hole, easy to trim out for varying loads and the best part is it will put an exclamation point on a water fight! Worth every penny imo.

My lynx came to me with a Scott nozzle on it and it works great. You're welcome to take a look at it.

Running a 175 SJ bobcat with Scott Nozzle and have to say
so easy to push the button and trim it out for load conditions.
Punches out of the hole alot better with fat fishing friends on board
well worth the money, put most of the kit in my self except the
grinding of the bucket, that part tricky to set right

Is it a lot cheaper for trim tabs than a Scott nozzle ? I'm wondering about the same thing for a winter project.
