Have a kem Efi 350 and have to add coolant every few trips out. not much maybe a cup but i shouldnt have to add any. Pressured cooling system up and after 3 hours lost about 2 psi next time going to try after boat is warm. Question is if my gaskets in my exhaust manifolds are starting to leak since this is higher pressure then the water is this a possible spot for my coolant to be deciding to leave my engine,?

Hi , it is a very good place to look , if you have the manifolds with a bypass hose from top to bottom then i would say no , if there is no little hose there then more then likely , also another real good thing to do is just replace your rad cap they can wear out and not hold pressure like new , thats the first thing i would do

your cooler could have a crack, leak which puts coolant into the exhaust and out the back end. Last year had a cracked tube in cooler which did same thing. remove and take to rad shop to seal up bad tube.

i know with my exchanger it always runs about half an inch below the fill neck, and if i fill it right up will spit out the over flow.
