Has anybody on here jetboated the Narroway river and if so, how far have you gone? Has anybody jetboated it into BC?

I would be interested in exploring it end of August, I am sure the water level may be getting skinny this time of year.

Is there anywhere a guy could possibly launch his boat above the wapiti/narroway confluence?

Thanks

Thanks Shallowman, how far up is Cathedral Rock from the Wapiti/Narroway confluence. Does this rock pretty much block the river and not allow for any chanel/line around it without going through some serious rapids/holes, rock gardens, shelfs???

Thanks

I have been up the Narraway to the Torrens but as was said August is getting pretty dicey. Lots of large rock especially for the first few miles of the Narraway from the Wapiti. Once you get past that tho it is a lot of fun. I think there is a log jam just above Cathedral rock. If I recall there was a boat sunk up there late last year.

Thanks Towman, what type of boat were you running when you ran it to the Torrens?

I was up there with a 19' firefish and v8. Think it was late june or in july couple years ago. We ran up past torrens river quite aways its was all good other than one section like towman said. We defiantly did a little bumping and banging for sure there lol! It was a good run and we met up with a bunch of locals when we came back out and didn't believe us that we were that far up with bigger boats.

Thanks cul8rrr, sounds like some serious fun there. I would be running a 16' centre console firefish built for banging if required.
