I know, I Know, I'm a pain in the butt!, but here goes anyway.
I just bought 3 cases of Mobil 1 synthetic , my pan holds 14 liters.

Now, I find out that this stuff could (EAT) my seals and gaskets Shocked
I don't have any leaks now cause I just replaced a lot of those seals
including front and rear mains.
I really don't want to go through this again not at this time anyway.
Has anyone had this (eating) problem Confused or should I go ahead and chance it Confused Embarassed

I've ran full syn in my pick up with no problem at all. As for eating seals and gaskets I would guess an old boy told you that Laughing

The syn will find any little leak and make it seem bigger as was stated before it is super slippery! If it ate seals out then manufacturers would not recommend running it at all.

If your engine is fairly tight then I wouldn't worry about it and run the synthetic. Keep your eye on your oil level and if it appears you are using lots then I would switch back.

And don't believe anyone that says you can't switch back cause they are all interchangeable now days.
