D525 all 496 or 8.1L are fuel injected, you cant put a carb on them. _________________ HANG ON NUTLICKER !! |

not too sure if that means you want a carbed motor,but a buddy runs a 5.7 that was carbed and hated it.he upgraded to efi this year.boat was stalling at inoppurtune times(caved in the side). |

Sounds like he needed a tune up....if I had a EFI motor in my boat I'd put a carb on it ASAP.... JMO! |

It will be an EFI engine.....I have had fewer issues with EFI engines than carbed engines in bikes, sleds and autos....but have no boat experience to draw on.....makes a few more ponies too....on another topic, how does the Honda powered capstan winch work for those of you that have tried it? |
